The Initiative of the Village of Cernille

On July 20th, the Cërnillë council took a significant step toward environmental preservation, choosing this as their main focus.

Thirty participants, ranging in age from 14 to 35, brought their plan to life by planting 31 trees in the village park, which previously had only a few.

In addition to tree planting, the group also distributed informational flyers to raise awareness about environmental issues.

These flyers included practical tips on how community members can contribute to saving the planet. The initiative was a resounding success, with people of all ages joining in. It not only beautified the park but also sparked meaningful conversations about how everyone can take part in protecting the environment and their local community.

This effort marks the beginning of a long-term commitment by the Cërnillë council to drive positive environmental change.

The Initiative of the Village of Dubravë

On August 5th, the Dubravë council took decisive action against pollution after noticing that garbage had gone uncollected for weeks and there were no public bins available.

Eighteen participants, ranging from 13 to 35 years old, united for a community clean-up day, removing trash and installing bins throughout the village to provide a sustainable solution.

The initiative was a success, bringing community members together with a shared goal of creating a cleaner and healthier environment for everyone. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many locals joining in to support the effort. This event not only addressed an urgent issue but also fostered a sense of pride and responsibility within the community.

The Initiative of the Village of Balaj

On September 4th, the Balaj community took steps to enhance their local public space by revitalizing the basketball court in the school area. Fifteen participants, including both young members under 15 years old and those over 35, came together for this project with the goal of creating a more welcoming space for the village’s youth to gather and play.

The group repainted the court, giving it a fresh and vibrant look. This initiative aimed to encourage young people to spend time outdoors, stay active, and build a sense of community through shared activities.

The project not only beautified the space but also strengthened the community bond and promoted a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation.

The Initiative of the village of Talinoc

In Talinoc, a mini library was created within the school, equipped with 150 books to support teachers' daily programs and provide resources for students. The village council and school collaborated to bring books from their homes, enriching the library. The success of this initiative has encouraged further collaboration, with the village council expressing interest in additional youth-focused projects. As a result, Rin’ON plans to implement the Rri’ON program in Talinoc to foster ongoing youth engagement.

The Initiative of the village of Mirashë

In Mirashë, the initiative aimed at revitalizing the unused Center of Culture. Recognizing the challenges posed by the lack of designated management for the center, Rin’ON worked with the village council, youth, and Rin’ON volunteers to redesign one of the center’s spaces, including creating murals to make it more inviting and functional for young people. This project marks the first step toward reopening the center and creating a sustainable space for youth activities. Starting next year, Rin’ON will hold regular sessions under the Rri’ON program in the revitalized space, ensuring it becomes an active space for the community.
